Hello and welcome to my website, Cllr Paul Davis.  Born and raised a Shropshire lad and even prouder to be a Wellingtonian I’m a relatively new face to local politics.  Committed and determined I campaigned tirelessly alongside great colleagues and worked with supportive mentors within the Labour Party – not just in Wellington, but right across the Borough of Telford and Wrekin.

The tried and tested methods of knocking doors, leafleting and most importantly speaking to residents has given me a great insight into local issues both in Park ward and the wider community of Wellington.  It has enabled me to understand what really is important to people.  The conversations we have had; and will continue to have, really will help to shape decisions for our Town.

I recognise that the relationship between local councillors and residents is one that needs to be nurtured and this is of huge personal importance to me.  Through events and regular ward walks I hope to be able to meet, listen and engage with even more local people over the next four years.

However, as passionate as I am about meeting people, I also recognise that we lead incredibly busy, often hectic lives.  Shift work, travelling out of town, raising families often means a knocked door is an unanswered one, a missed conversation.  That’s why I’ve created this website.  It’s a space to connect with you, keep you informed and give you the chance to contact me when you need to.
